As we grow, we wanted a neutral word, that is not trying to sell you an idea or an emotion. It works equally for a technology brand and for the cultural brand that we are growing into. It’s open-ended – your ideas and projects shape how our products turn an idea into an experience – your collaboration drives what we do, and how we do it. Disguise better represents the way we are able to help you tell your story.
It has connotations of changing appearances. We’ve always been adventurous. We like to think of our community as a secret society of superheroes, our technology the ‘cloak’ that helps you disguise the reality you are trying to conceal. We believe the best innovation happens when our users and developers work together, under a common disguise, to turn a complicated concept into a complete transformation.
And…let's face it, disguises are pretty cool. Worn by the good, the bad and the ugly - who hasn’t wanted to be the master behind the mask at some point?
While our name changes, we do not, we’re still the same company at heart. As we grow, we are even more focused to maintain the same values that got us here, offering the same level of support and innovation.
