The disguise solution is used to power video mapping and in-vision screens in TV studio environments including ITV Sports Studio in London, UEFA Euro Cup coverage, as well as on numerous live broadcasts such as the Grammys, BAFTAs, the Brits and even for the BBC Queen Jubilee special, where a huge concert was staged in front of Buckingham Palace, London.
At MPS 2018 we’ll be demonstrating how the disguise solution can be put to use in a TV studio environment - including showing how different video formats and styles can merge into one immersive environment.
Practical demonstrations will further demonstrate the disguise software toolkit, which enables users to visualise, design and sequence projects - with a focus on features such as its MultiEdit capabilities, and how it can be used on site as a show controller, editor, calibration interface and more, so teams can achieve the best creative results possible.
We’ll also be giving an insight into the future workflows for onscreen and in-camera graphics using disguise, during a panel discussion in the Live Production Theatre at 1pm on Tuesday 12th June. The discussion will include the creation of virtual environments and realtime VFX to reduce post-production, and an insight on how production teams are evolving the disguise platform to be at the heart of broadcast innovation.
