Production Futures, 2017

Production Futures, 2017

Earlier this month we headed down to Wakefield's Production Park for Production Futures.

The event is the first of its kind in the live event industry and is hosted by tpi Magazine. It has been specifically set up to reward emerging industry talent and to offer students, graduates and freelancers the opportunity to come face to face with individuals and companies in live event production.

Throughout the course of the day we ran projection mapping demos, to show how disguise can be used to design, sequence and control your project and bring big ideas to life.

Also on display was a demo that showed the future of live show design - generative content. Using a live camera feed students were able to see how generative content is rendered in real time using the latest gx range which features a built in Notch playback license.

It was exciting to meet with the next generation of our industry and to have been a part of an event that supports future growth and innovation. We were also very proud to sponsor the tpi breakthrough talent awards and would like to say a huge well done to all those that took home an award.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, we hope you felt inspired by the projects disguise sits at the heart of. It’s that enthusiasm to learn and passion to keep driving forward which makes this all possible.

If you were unable to make the event or would like to find out more about designer, request a free downloadable trial  and discover it from your own laptop. We also host global training sessions and a range of YouTube tutorials that offer step by step guides.
