By closing time on the Friday afternoon, an amazing 80,923 had attended the show. Thanks to everyone that visited the disguise stand. We had a great time catching up with some familiar faces and meeting so many new ones.
At this year’s show, we gave a sneak peek into the cutting edge features of our upcoming software release, r15. This included Lux, the new visualisation renderer which bridges the gap between technical planning and the creative vision. As part of the Lux update, VR support will also be going gold, allowing you to step into your visualisation and be completely immersed in the environment you create.
We hope you were also able to catch our live demonstration of OmniCal, our new camera-vision-based calibration platform. If you missed it, or would like to find out more please drop us an email.
The Panasonic ‘showstopper’ was yet again, a big talking point at this year’s ISE. Using the new gx range, the Panasonic team collaborated with our Studio partner, Painting with Light, BlackTrax and Novaline. Take a look:
We were also very proud sponsors of the first ever World Masters of Projection Mapping competition. The new event showcased work from five international video artists, projected onto the facade of the EYE Filmmuseum. We’d like to congratulate everyone that took part and say a special well done to brothers Florian and Michael Quistrebert, who were the overall winners with their projected creation - ‘Stripes 5’.
The next stop for disguise EMEA will be Prolight + Sound...more info coming soon!
