The Disguise Creators Circle Awards
Our brand-new awards programme celebrating the amazing talent behind the productions and projects created with Disguise in 2026.
Entries open 8th October 2026 | Entries close 19th November 2026
Celebrating the teams behind the work
We know the teams working hard behind the scenes rarely receive the recognition they deserve. That's exactly why we've launched the first-ever Disguise Creators Circle awards, to showcase the amazingly talented people behind the outstanding productions and projects being created with Disguise technology in 2026.
The awards recognise the individuals building complex workflows, running shows under pressure, finding new solutions and sharing their knowledge with others in the community.
Award Categories
2 Winners
Recognising two programmers who have played a key role in building and developing the Disguise workflow for a production. This could include creating complex show setups, developing custom workflows, integrating Disguise with other systems, building real-time content pipelines or finding technical solutions to challenging creative requirements.
2 Winners
Celebrating two operators who have played a key role in running a live production using Disguise. This could include managing playback and show control, busking or adapting content during a performance, responding to changes in the show and troubleshooting issues when things don’t go to plan.
1 Winner
Recognising an individual who goes beyond their own projects to share knowledge, support other Disguise users and make a sustained contribution to the wider Disguise community.
1 Winner
Spotlighting an emerging Disguise user making an impact early in their careers through the projects they're contributing to, their technical development, or the way they're supporting others in the Disguise community.
If someone fits more than one category, you can nominate them in each, provided each nomination recognises a different contribution (for example, you can nominate someone for Operator of the Year for one project, and Programmer of the Year for another).
What you can win: Recognition & Prizes
Every winner will be recognised across Disguise and Creators Circle channels, with the opportunity to be featured in the annual 2027 Disguise Magazine alongside their work and multiple feature spotlights throughout the rest of the year.
Each winner will receive:
- Annual Disguise X1 licence: available to run on your own laptop or hardware of choice.
- Premium Disguise swag bag: with a selection of branded items to use on the road and at work.
- Creators Circle Awards winner badge: which can be used on LinkedIn, websites, email signatures, portfolios or other professional profiles.
- Recognition across Disguise and Creators Circle channels: with the opportunity to be featured in the annual 2027 Disguise Magazine alongside their work.
How to enter
Nominating someone is quick and easy. You can nominate yourself, a colleague, or someone else whose work deserves recognition. For our first year, you don’t need to be a Creators Circle member to enter or be nominated.
Tell us about:
- The project: a specific production or project delivered in 2026
- Their role: what the nominee did and the role they played
- Their contribution: what they achieved, solved or brought to the project
- Why they deserve recognition: what made their contribution stand out
You can submit a written entry or a short video, and supporting material can also be included.
If someone fits more than one category, you can nominate them in each, provided each nomination recognises a different contribution.
