Disguise returns as official technical supplier for the Eurovision Song Contest 2025
Live Events

Disguise has once again been named the Official Technical Supplier for the Eurovision Song Contest, marking the seventh time the company helped power one of the world’s most-watched live music events. Held in Basel’s St. Jakobshalle on Saturday, 17 May, with Semi-Finals on 13 and 15 May, the 2025 edition of the contest has been hosted by Swiss broadcaster SRG SSR and the European Broadcasting Union (EBU).
Building on the success of last year’s production, which was the first time Eurovision ran entirely over the ST 2110 IP protocol, Disguise was again at the heart of delivering a high-performance technical workflow. Partnering with Creative Technology (CT), Disguise provided its flagship VX4+ media servers and its IP-VFC cards, enabling the output of ST 2110 video.
The 2025 show has also benefited from Disguise’s OmniCal system, a camera-based projection calibration solution that accelerates setup times while improving projection accuracy. This is especially vital for a show as visually complex as Eurovision, where projection accuracy on automated staging needs to be ensured.
With 37 broadcasters covering the event and millions of viewers tuning in worldwide, Eurovision remains a broadcast technology showcase as much as a musical celebration. Joining Disguise in delivering the technical infrastructure for this year’s show are partners Megapixel, providing video processing solutions and Roe Visual, which has supplied the LED displays.
“We’re very proud to continue our long-standing partnership with Eurovision and to play our role in pushing the technical boundaries of live event broadcast,” said Ollie Newland, Product Manager at Disguise. “It’s an iconic celebration of creativity and performance, and being trusted to help bring that vision to life on such a massive stage is an honour for everyone at Disguise.”
