Disguise fuels summer 2025’s most ambitious live experiences with cutting-edge technology solutions

From Oasis and Coldplay’s world tours, to Coachella and Glastonbury, Disguise has been trusted to support these milestone productions throughout the year.

Disguise Summer Projects

Disguise has powered a number of the world’s most high-profile live shows and productions throughout Summer 2025, including huge cultural moments, comeback tours, and Tony-Award-winning theatre.

Highlights include Oasis’s landmark return to the live music scene, with the tour’s colossal LED ‘wonder wall’ powered by Disguise GX 3 media servers and Designer software, in collaboration with Universal Pixels, Absen and Brompton Technology. The hotly-anticipated performances came to life with Notch and IMAG effects courtesy of show programmer Anthony Condon and video director Jon Shrimpton, going down in history as one of the most talked about tours of all time.

Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres World Tour celebrated its 225th show in September, including a record-breaking 10-night stint at London’s Wembley Stadium. Running on Disguise GX 3 and GX 2C media servers, the tour’s signature multisensory spectacle featured inflatable spherical video screens and dynamic visual content, all controlled by Screens Director and Creative Associate, Joshua Koffman, via Designer.

One of the biggest events in European entertainment, Eurovision 2025 once again named Disguise as its Official Technical Supplier earlier this year. Partnering with Creative Technology (CT), Disguise provided VX 4+ media servers and IP-VFC cards to enable seamless ST 2110 video output, supported by its OmniCal projection calibration system. This marked the seventh time Disguise has powered one of the world’s most-watched live broadcasts.

Over on Robbie Williams’ Britpop tour, Universal Pixels, Luke Halls Studio and Programmer Phil Leech brought the fan-favourite show to life with Disguise’s solutions. Powered by Disguise GX 3 media servers and using Designer software, the production combined custom Notch content, Williams’s own artwork, and vast LED walls spanning 600 square metres to create a career-defining spectacle.

At Coachella, advanced plugin integrations within newly-launched Designer Pro enabled Charly Camina to pre-program and simulate Junior H’s debut for flawless delivery on one of the world’s largest stages.

Disguise’s software and hardware has also supported a number of 2025’s standout theatre shows. Making its debut on Broadway, Stranger Things: The First Shadow utilises Disguise’s 10-bit workflow to cohesively drive onstage HDR content across LED and projection - picking up numerous Tony Awards, including Best Scenic Design for a Play which was awarded to 59 Studio and Stage Designer, Miriam Buether. Best Scenic Design for a Musical also went to a Disguise-powered show, with Video Designer, George Reeve, and Scenic Designer, Dane Laffrey, recognised for the fusion of video and scenic design in Maybe Happy Ending.

Meanwhile, over on the West End, Reeve also harnessed Disguise to drive the LED backdrop and dynamic stage projections for Hercules The Musical, working alongside Video Systems Designer, Mogzi, to bring the Disney classic to life on stage.

Other major projects this summer included Black Sabbath, Fontaines D.C., Pierce The Veil, Hozier, Massive Attack, Brand New, Lord Huron, Lorde at Glastonbury and many more, underlining Disguise’s position as the trusted technology partner of the world’s biggest live acts.

Disguise is the platform of choice for stage designers, content teams, programmers, and operators on a global basis. This is primarily because our core product enables them to prioritise focusing on the creative output, rather than technical implementation. From global stadium tours to intimate Broadway and West End productions, we're proud to provide the technological foundation that helps bring visionary ideas to life on any scale.
